Oct 18 2009: That was an excellent talk! Thank you for letting us know about Dr. Howard Moskowitz. I am partially made up of some of the food products you named, so I can honestly say that Dr. Moskowitz had a profound effect on who I am today!
By the way, forty years ago, or more, my Dad used to make a spaghetti sauce that had large chunks of many ingredients. Some were mushrooms, onions, peppers, sausage, and much more. He considered this his innovation. It led to a family ritual where he took over the kitchen for hours to make the sauce. At dinner, he he served all of us, making a point of equally distributing the chunks. This talk made me nostalgic for those days.
